New Glasses, New Jersey, New scanner

I got glasses. I am not happy about it. I have had them for 2 days and already have managed to sit on them. Luckily, I was able to bend them back into shape. I can't really see without them and it is annoying to try to draw when my eyes keep going in and out of focus, but I don't like to wear them because I am not used to the perscription yet and everything looks sort of distorted.
Currently, I am visiting my grandparents in New Jersey.
We celebrated their 50th aniversary and I am now considered old enough to drink at family parties. I had a glass of champaign and pretended to be cultured and sophisticated(which I am not).
Also, my old scanner broke. The new one is not acually new. In fact, it is older than our previous one and I cannot figure out how to use it. I am not very good at computer stuff(I didn't know how to send an e-mail until last year).
